Black Friday Sale Comparison: Walmart vs. Amazon

Walmart is coming up with a very promising Black Friday Sale for 2017 as they have already revealed what’s going to be there. And unlike Best Buy and Amazon, Walmart has some great plans to provide you discounts on the new smartphones. Let’s not give any further spoilers and head straight to our comparison.

Black Friday Deals where Walmart Beats Amazon

Walmart’s doorbuster sale will begin at 6 P.M. on Thanksgiving day and will be carried forward to the Black Friday. If you are looking for that classic Black Friday experience with crazy people fighting with each other, then Walmart is the place where you need to go.

iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X Deals

What Walmart has in store is too much for Amazon to take on. For every Apple iPhone, iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8, Plus and iPhone X, Walmart is offering a $300 gift card on AT&T & Verizon,

    Samsung Galaxy Deals

For Samsung fans, Walmart is offering a same Walmart Gift Card worth $300 on qualifying purchase, i.e. S8, S8+ and Note 8. Walmart wins again here because Amazon has no such plans to give such massive discounts on smartphones.

    Google Home

You could get the Google Home for just $79 which is a $50 cut in price. On the other hand, you won’t find Google Home on Amazon (because it’s a rival product for Amazon’s Echo). So if you plan on to get Google Home, Walmart is again the place you need to go.

Walmart is offering Sharp’s 55-inch 4K Smart TV for $298, while Amazon is offering a 49-inch 4K TV (we don’t know the brand) for around $170. If you have bought a TV before, you would know that the difference in price is justified. Moreover, Sharp may not be top of the line brand but it still is expected to better than what Amazon has in store.

    Amazon Devices

Walmart has not even a single page that’s dedicated to their Black Friday Sale for Amazon devices. This is contrary to what Target and Best Buy are doing. So without a doubt, Amazon wins this round because it’s Amazon and where else would you get the best discounts and widest range of Amazon products if not on Amazon?

About Amazon devices’ prices, you could get the Kindle Paperwhite E-reader for $89.99 (not before November 19) and Amazon Echo Plus for $119.99 (not before November 23). There are plenty of other Amazon products so make sure to check them out.

Both Amazon and Walmart offers two-day shipping but Walmart has $35 minimum purchase criterion.

    Longevity of Sale

Amazon is on sale since November 1st. Meanwhile, Walmart hasn’t even started their sale yet and doesn’t plan on to before November 23rd.

If it’s about the lowest price for HD TVs and not the quality, then Amazon is always on the no. 1 spot for providing cheapest TVs. This year, you could get a 32-inch HD TV for $69.99 while a 49-inch 4K TV for $159.99.
